Meet Popeye!! 



Popeye was surrendered to the dreaded San Bernardino Shelter by his owner. He is even-tempered and very gentle. He loves adults and kids. He is not good with big dogs as he gets nervous as he's not able to see them. He is very laid back and does not require significant exercise.



Popeye is “Blind” but doesn’t require any significant special care. He adapts to his surroundings quickly.  He’s a routine dog and knows what time breakfast and dinner is and when it's time to go for a walk. Popeye walks well on leash in familiar areas and prefers short walks (30 minutes or less) in the cool evenings. As a blind dog he needs to be introduced slowly to new areas to allow him to acclimate.
